Group Seven’s Program Management Lifecycle provides a framework for our consultants and clients to stay focused on achieving a project’s business objectives.  We ask ourselves a series of pointed questions that help reduce the risk on any project and ensure that all of the right people are engaged in any cost reduction initiative:

  • Analysis and Design – What are the people, process and/or technology changes required to achieve the projects’ objectives?
  • Planning – What are the level of effort, timeline and costs for the projects?
  • Core Team Initiation – Who is the project team (in vs. outsource)? What are the deployment goals (Project Charters)?
  • Approvals – Have the ultimate decision-makers approved all aspects of the projects?

Execution

  • Program Management – What are the dependencies between projects?
  • Requirements and Specifications – What are the details of the solution?
  • Development – Does the solution meet the specifications?
  • Deployment – Is the project team meeting the deployment goals defined in the Charter?
  • Transition – Is there a person or group trained to support the solution long-term?
